Why? because it is too easy to get things you want. This is one thing that most games do not do well. The current magic find system also forces human interaction and trading. Where it makes you yell out loud yes, yes,. It is not supposed to be easy you are supposed to have to work for it so it feels really good like an actual reward. You can literally do runs targeting the item you want and in about 150-200 you are likely to get it, except end game gear. If you can’t get the item you are looking for with all the information out there about this game you simply don’t want to put the time in. This game is hard and unforgiving and it makes you think. If you want that go play D3 or likely what D4 will be. This game was not meant for a 5 yr old to be able to play and succeed easily. Adding more loot decreases rarity which is one of the great things about Diablo II is the struggle to get good loot. Allow me and the 14+yrs I have playing Diablo II to chime in here.
